Campaign launched to save Team Lotus

One side of the Lotus naming dispute has been put forward on a new and in-depth webpage called www.saveteamlotus.com. The basic background is that the Lotus Racing F1 team had its naming rights revoked for next season by Group Lotus and, in order to keep racing under the Lotus name, bought the Team Lotus brand off David Hunt, who had owned it since the original team’s last race in 1994. Group Lotus has now taken Lotus Racing to court to try and stop it using the historic name in Formula One next year. The issue has been a source of constant confusion for many fans and the new webpage offers a breakdown of David Hunt’s and Team Lotus’ side of the argument.

1957 Ford Fairlane

Ok, I'm kind of new to hotrods and street rods as almost all my builds are factory stock. In about 25 years building this little glue bombs, I've built only about five non stock automobiles.

This time, I started building a Ford Fairlane, the well known AMT kit, and decided to build two at once. One of them 100% factory stock, and the other to represent what I would have done in the early 60's (if I had actually lived the era) to make the Chevys eat dust and FoMoCo exhaust gases:))

The car in question is a 312 V8 Y-Block powered '57 Fairlane 500 Club Victoria, with a Paxton supercherger, slicks, and a floor shifter. The car, like my factory stock Fairlane is Raven black, with colonial and medium gray interior.

Hope you like it,

Thanks forr looking,

Túlio.
