1967 Camaro sport coupe 327- we got paint

Hey guys, wanted to share my progress of my current project, an AMT 67' Camaro 327, I made some subtle changes to convert it from a Z28 into a 327 sport coupe. luckily, the 302 that comes with the kit is practically identical to the 327 in my 1/1 67 Camaro, since the 302 is basically a 327 with a crank from a 283 it makes sense,  so not much work is needed on that.  I'll also be using an MCR photoetch kit (this is my first time using photo etch) I'm not fully decided on a color, right now its between 66' Corvette laguna blue or metallic grey.  This is my first project  after a 3 year hiatus from building model cars.  I'm just having fun with this one, after "breaking myself  in" with this and maybe a couple more kits I'm gonna do a scale replica of my 1/1 67' Camaro as I'm gonna restore it.  I've just completed the engine and most of the body work and have the undercarraige and suspension parts hanging up drying after a coat of flat black paint.  The chrome on the engine is actually my first attempt with alclad II, which I'm very pleased with, I'll also be using alclad II on the bumpers, taillight bezels and grille.  I have the dash roughed in, but still need to add the photo etch dash buttons/knobs, and detail the gauges, I also scratchbuilt the pedal levers to utilize the PE pedals, I'm glad it came out better than I expected, I also scratchbuilt a new shifter and blinker switch on the steering column.  I'm taking it slow, but  I will post more pics w/ updates as I progress in the build,  thanks for looking!, JB
